Believe it or not Captain Fantastic made a stop in Sunny Saskatoon
to perform live. Lorna and I were able to get seats for the show.
It was our first time to see Elton John and hopefully not our last.
The show was awesome, he played for 3 hours and sang his heart out.
I took these photo's at the show. |

I made many new friends on my travels this year. As usual I had my camera
with me, these are a few of the photo's from my trip to British Columbia.
Dean Sawyer, of Sawyer's Sewing in Victoria and I are shown, above left,
by the fire in his back yard. Dean lives on the coast of Vancouver Island
with the beach right up to his back door. Dean and I went crabbing early
one morning, above right. The photo below on the left is Kathy Schroter
and Betty McLean of Snip & Stitch in Nanaimo. Also below on the right
is Calvin Toews of Toews Sewing and Music in Abbotsford. These and many
other great new friends have come from teaching about what I love, "The
Art of Digitizing". The people involved in domestic sewing, store owners,
staff and their customers are a pleasure to meet and work with. What a truly
beautiful group of people. |
