Paulett Sapergia is Lorna's mom and a wonderful artist. Her main passion is to paint wildlife, however she also likes to knit and sew. Paulett teaches classes on how to paint from her studio on an acreage just outside of Saskatoon. The Studio is absolutely full of original artwork and crafts. Paulett also makes prints of her work that she sells from her gallery and also from her web site. We especially like the greeting cards that she produces. Believe it or not, she actually prints and assembles each card herself. Most of the cards are blank inside and Lorna and I keep a stock of them on hand for special occasions that arise. Recently Paulett and Trevor teamed up to produce this unique and original piece of artwork. The elk in this picture is embroidered and the rest of the image is painted around it.
