Made by Trevor and Lorna Conquergood
In Loving memory of our son Scott Carl Conquergood who we lost at 37 weeks
of pregnancy, September 14th 2001.
In life we all suffer the loss of loved ones and dreams. It is our wish
to open our hearts and embrace those who are feeling helpless and ask
if they would like to hang a ribbon on Scott's Tree of Remembrance for
their loved one that is gone from our physical earth. With Scott's Tree,
we hope to reach as many people as possible, to help rebuild some new
dreams for the future, and revitalize hope in all our lives.
Please visit the web page for
Scott's Tree, hang a ribbon or just to see the tree grow. We will
add to the page as the tree changes and develops.

The Compassionate Friends
USA
Canada
Saskatoon |
Lorna and I have been to a few meetings of the Compassionate Friends,
a support group for people who have lost a child. The people that
we have met are very nice and we feel understood when with them. There
are similar groups all across the world and their web sites are linked
to the left. On December 9th, there was a candle lighting ceremony
held all over the world. At 7:00 pm in each time zone people lit candles
for their lost children. Gary and Barb Kachur organized the event
in Saskatoon this year and we thought it was very nice. Lauren, of
course, had a great time and as you can see below she helped with
the music. See the pictures below. |

Our daughter, Lauren, is doing wonderful and growing so fast. She is
very excited for Christmas, but doesn't really know what it is all about.
She can say "tree" and "lights", but has no idea who the big red guy is.
She learns something new every day and is very active. She loves to climb,
jump, and sing. Her favourite songs are, ABCD, and Twinkle Twinkle Little
Star - special thanks to ELMO. She also likes Kermit, but unfortunately
she calls him "Frog" and sometimes it sounds more like "Frock", which
can sound embarassingly like some other word. -grin-

Digitizing Flash Back
Here is a sneak peak at a photo collection that we are working on for
our web site. We have a bunch of old photo's of people digitizing
and embroidering in our office over the years. For some fun we will
be making a page to show them off and have a good laugh about it.
Here are a couple of examples:
