September 2001

As I have shared my most joyful moments in life with all the Club Stitchitize members I must also share my most grievous. We have a very sad personal announcement in regards to our expectant baby. In the 37th week of pregnancy we lost our precious gift. It is very hard to convey the reality to you all as the announcement was supposed to carry very different news. In honor of our baby, we have authored a web page to use as a vehicle to share our memories with you.

September was a turbulent month worldwide. Waking up to find that one of the world's most powerful, free living countries was under attack was unnerving to say the least. The tragedies of  the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and the fourth plane that crashed in the countryside in Pennsylvania, shook the very foundations of all people's sense of security and peace. The vulnerability of all our lives came to the forefront of all our thoughts as the world held its breath while we all waited to find out what the outcome would be. Stitchitize would like to extend a wish for peace and an end to terrorism for the whole world to share.  Our prayers go out to all the victims who lots their lives and their families so that they may know peace. The whole world grieves their losses.
