SDTA stands for Sewing Dealer Trade Association. Every spring they hold a show in Las Vegas and this year Trevor attended. It is a very big show with large booths from all of the sewing machine mafacturers. Companies that offer notions and other merchandise to sewing stores will also have booths in the hall. Many interesting people from the sewing industry will be at the show and as usual Trevor tries to meet as many new people as he can. Below are photos of some the people that Trevor met at this year's show. The SDTA also offers classes at the show for dealers to learn new things that they can then bring home and offer to their customers. Classes are offered in many topics from machine maintainance, software, to the latest trends. Just to keep things interesting there are also vacuum people at the show. The VDTA (Vacuum Daeler Trade Association) and the SDTA are one and the same. It makes for a very interesting show with all sorts of booths. The sewing booths are much nicer with interesting items to see but the vacuum booths have much cleaner carpet.

In the center is Trevor with Simon Haskins who is the son of Jenny Haskins. Jenny is the editor of Creative Expressions, an Australian based magazine. The photo above right is Trevor with Eileen Roche the editor of Designs in Machine Embroidery and Trevors's good friend John Deer. John is also Canadian and is the owner of Adorable Ideas.
