August in Saskatchewan is the time to be at the lake. Our summer is short and while it is here we make the best of it. One weekend in particular was great because Trevor with his sister Andrea and brother Carl all went to the lake with our families. We had fun fishing on the dock, see George and his big catch below. We did some boating, see Carl jump the wake below. Of course any good trip to the lake also included a camp fire with Smores(gormet marshmallows).

August brings The Exhibition to Saskatoon. This year Nana and Pompa, (aka Wendy and George) joined Trevor, Andrea and Carl with all of the kids for a very full day at the EX. In the photo to the left you can see Lauren and Nicholas with Nana and Pompa at the end of the day with stuffed animals and candy apple faces. Below you can see all of the kids and they look to be having the time of their lives. Below that you can see Lorna with her great friend Marlèssa Wesolowski who shows her paintings at the EX each year. The last pic is Carl, Andrea and Trevor sporting sun on our faces. A good time was had by all and boy oh boy did the kids sleep good that night!
