Trevor's trip to Las Vegas
|
Las Vegas is always fun but when hundreds of embroidery enthusiasts stay in the same hotel you know that there is going to be some good fun!
Trevor taught classes and Lorna took some money out of the slots. We had a good time and were able to visit with friends John and Jennifer Deer who were also at the show, see photo below on the left. Fellow Canadians, the Deer family business, is called Adorable Ideas. While at the CEC Trevor met Rita Farro and Denise Holguin from Designs in Machine Embroidery, see photo below middle.
Cynthia and Jerry Fellows, from Cynthia's Sewing Center, are Stitchitize Dealers who were at the show. Trevor enjoyed meeting them and working in their booth.

Trevor's Trip to Muscle Shoals Alabama
Ken's Sewing and Vacuum Center hosted a Love to Learn School and invited Trevor to teach. It was a fun event and there were many talented teachers there. The people of Muscle Shoals were very nice and Trevor enjoyed the southern hospitality. I learned that there were several movie stars staying in the same hotel as us because they were shooting a movie….and I thought that they rolled that red carpet out just for little old me. Below is a photo of Trevor with Ken and his sons Kevin and Jeremy.

While at Love to Learn in Muscle Shoals Trevor met Tammy Bowser. Her quilts are amazing and really something you need to see in person to fully appreciate. Photo quilts are made simple and easy with the technique that Tammy teaches.
