Trip to Las Vegas
Trevor was in Las Vegas for the VDTA Show (The Sewing and Vacuum Dealer Trade Show). The show was held at the convention center at the Las Vegas Hilton.
Shows like this are a wonderful place to meet new people and visit with old friends. In the photos above Trevor is shown with Martha Pullen on the left. Martha was the Key Note Speaker at the show and her speech was impressive and inspiring. In the middle is Urban Zundt who made the trip from Switzerland to be at the show. Urban's family has Zundt designs and they are some of the most beautiful embroidery you will ever find. On the right is Trevor's old friend Walter Floriani. Not to call Walt old, but Trevor has known Walt for years. Walter has a new line of stabilizers that are a must-have for embroiderers.

Trevor's 37th Birthday
Another year older and perhaps wiser. No big party for 37 but lots of cake. First we had a cake at Stitchitize with all of the staff and later in the evening we had cake again at Grandma Doris's house. With all of those candles it's a good thing that Trevor had Lauren and Nicholas to help blow them out!

Lauren and Nicholas are swimming again this year. They get better with each lesson and love the water. The photo in the middle is a nice shot of Lorna and Lauren catching a nap. Since Nicholas was born, Lauren and Mom don't often get to share a nap. In the photo on the right, Lauren and Nicholas are sitting nicely for a photo with their cousins Julia and Renel. February is so cold in Saskatchewan that the kids have to stay inside to play, but they love it anyway. |
