Summer time in Saskatoon means "The Ex" will be in town. It all starts with a parade through downtown. There are several entries in the parade that help show some Saskatchewan heritage. Above you can see a beautiful old steam tractor on the left. On the right is a pipe organ and when it plays you can hear it from almost anywhere in the city. It's toots are a melody right out of boomtown 1910 in Saskatoon. For the rest of the year, the huge pipe organ makes it's home at the Saskatoon Western Development Meuseum where visitors are treated to a walk through a typical Canadian Prairie town in 1910. |
Lauren and Nicholas had a blast at "The Ex this year. They are at the age where they can both ride on the kids rides and have so much fun. Trev's sister Andrea and her kids George and Molly came to "The Ex" with us and everyone had a great time.

Every year Trevor, Lorna, Lauren and Nicholas like to get a funny photo while at "The Ex". This year we choose Scooby Doo for our family fun photo. Can you tell who is who? You can see more of these funny pic's if you look back at some of the previous August Club pages. Past pictures have included Superman, James Bond, Austin Powers, Pro Wrestlers, NHL Hockey players, and even Teletubbies along with several other funny photos. Be prepared to laugh!! |
