In May Trevor had the opportunity to travel far away from home to the very warm country of Taiwan. Janome held meetings with it's educators from around the world and Trevor was asked to speak about "The Art of Digitizing". It was an honour to work with Janome and it's educators from around the world. Above is a photo of the entire group at the meeting. Janome has a factory in Taiwan and Trevor had a tour. It was so interesting to see the toys we love to play with being made. The photo on the left shows Trevor with Steven Feng of Janome Taiwan. He was Trevor's guide while in Taiwan. Special thanks to Janome Taiwan and Steven for the wonderful hospitality while in their country.

The buses were cool and look at all of the scooters! How would you ever know what one was yours? In the Temple below people pray to Buda and offer gifts of incense.

Trevor made a trip to the rocky coast of Canada to attend the Ready Set Sew Conference in Halifax, Nova Scotia in May. This was Trevor's first trip to Eastern Canada. It was awesome to see how beautiful this part of Canada is. The people Trevor met in Halifax were very nice and interesting. Every Canadian from the West should take a trip to see Halifax and the other eastern provinces. The photo's above were taken at Peggy's Cove. The famous lighthouse sitting on the rocks is an icon of Nova Scotia.
