August is definitely the most beautiful month in Saskatoon (in my humble opionion). The weather is the hottest so it's the nicest part of the summer and we stick around for it. Nana and Pompa (a.k.a. Wendy and George) also seem to be stuck together, I mean, sticking around in August!

Along with the nice weather, August brought Trevor's only 2 first cousins in the whole world here to Saskatoon for a visit. It was wonderful to spend the time with them. Dana and Brandon are from Alcona, Ontario (near Barrie!). We enjoyed their visit immensely and hope that they will return this coming summer for another!

A new addition to our ever expanding family arrived in August. Lorna's sister, Marlo, had her second baby. Her name is Renelle! Lauren and Nicholas were very anxious to welcome their new cousin and congradulate their Auntie! What a sweetie she is! (..and so is the baby!). Anyone wonder where Nicholas gets his red hair from now???

We took in the Saskatoon Exhibition again this year. It's always fun to take kids to the fair. It's yet another chance to see the world through their eyes. Cotton Candy! Rides! Candy Apples! It is always a treat to receive their sticky kisses after snack time! It makes the crowds and line ups melt away...or at least that's what I tell myself.
